Bluebell Medical Centre, Sheffield
NHS Sheffield has identified the High Wincobank area as an area of priority for review of services and associated improved infrastructure.
The planned medical centre for Bluebell will support the provision of an improved range of services for local people.
The existing outdated Bluebell GP surgery will be replaced and will relocate into the new building once completed.
Service planning and design work is progressing well.
Where is the new development?
The centre will be situated on a site already owned by the Primary Care Trust located on Roman Ridge Road close to the existing Bluebell surgery.
What services will be in the new facility?
In addition to the GP surgery, the PCT anticipate providing access to therapy services and minor surgery facilities. It is intended that group rooms will also be provided which will be bookable for community use.


Darnall Community Health Centre, Sheffield,
NHS Sheffield has identified Darnall as an area of priority for review of services and associated improved infrastructure.
The proposed new Darnall Community Health Centre will replace the existing centre and will support the provision of an improved range of services for local people.
The new state-of-the-art facility will allow NHS Sheffield and the staff of Darnall Community Health Centre to continue to deliver a high quality service to the local community but will enable them to develop these services further from a bigger, purpose-built building.
Where is the new development?
The centre will be situated on Main Road, Darnall.
What services will be in the new facility?
The new health centre will offer better access and will house GPs and modern therapy and treatment facilities. There will also be a large multipurpose space that can be used for meetings and group sessions looking at physical fitness, mental wellbeing and healthy lifestyle choices. These meeting rooms will also be available to local community groups.


Foxhill Medical Centre, Sheffield
Planning work is currently underway with NHS Sheffield to replace the outdated Foxhill Medical Centre with a new state of the art facility.
The LIFT scheme will ease and address current problems of old premises which provide little or no room for expansion of services, by providing a purpose-built medical centre uniting medical, nursing and therapy services.
The new development would also provide the capacity to accommodate a pharmacy and group meeting rooms which can be bookable for community use.
The provision of this new state of the art facility through LIFT is also consistent with the PCT’s strategic review and objectives, and is a positive step forward in providing enhanced health and social care facilities for the Foxhill community.
Service planning and design work is progressing well.
Where will the new development be?
A preferred site has been identified following a site feasibility study and is under negotiation.

Norfolk Park Medical Centre, Sheffield,
The Norfolk Park area of Sheffield has been identified as an area of priority for review of services and associated improved infrastructure and a brand new medical centre is being proposed.
The new Norfolk Park Medical Centre will support the provision of an improved range of services for local people whilst allowing staff to continue to deliver a high quality service to the local community.
The existing outdated Norfolk Park Medical Centre will be replaced and will relocate into the new state-of-the-art building once it is completed.
Where is the new development?
The centre will be situated at the junction of Park Grange Road and Beldon Road. There is a bus stop and tram stop close by.
What services will be in the new facility?
The new health centre will offer better access and will house GPs and modern therapy and treatment facilities. There will also be a large multipurpose space that can be used for meetings and group sessions looking at physical fitness, mental wellbeing and healthy lifestyle choices.
Parsons Cross Health Centre, Sheffield
NHS Sheffield has identified Parsons Cross as an area of priority for review of services and associated improved infrastructure.A new development in this area will aim to bring a number of GP practices together in the North of the City and provide a base for delivering enhanced community based treatment facilities.
Feasibility work is ongoing to ensure that the best and most value for money site is identified. Firm plans will be developed following the outcome of these reviews.
