Deepcar Medical Centre
The £2.1m state of the art medical centre in Deepcar opened its doors to the public in January 2007 and is home to a GP practice, a dental surgery, PCT services and a pharmacy.
The steeply sloped site, which is adjacent to a main road, two minor roads and residential housing, provided a big design challenge for the Community 1st Sheffield design team.
Residents and the occupiers of the centre are delighted with the end result: a new community facility with a design solution that integrates it into its surroundings.
