Firth Park Clinic

Work is currently underway on the glazing to reduce solar glare and heat gain in the clinical and office accommodation. Improvements to the fire alarm system and heating system are also being made.
June to August 2008
Community 1st Sheffield worked closely with NHS Sheffield on the refurbishment scheme at the Firth Park Clinic. Extensive repairs to the roof and partial brickwork structure was to be undertaken along with a pitched roof.
The project saw significant investment from NHS Sheffield to various improvement works at the clinic, including a new roof and relocation of the main reception area as well as the refurbishment of the ground floor clinic space to provide an improved specialist dentistry surgery and accommodation for a new four surgery dental student teaching unit which NHS Sheffield is providing in partnership with Sheffield University dental school.
The refurbishment works were completed at the end of July 2008 and the new facility opened its doors in August 2008.
