Norfolk Park Medical Centre

Work has started on building a new medical centre, creating a one-stop shop for local health and community services in Norfolk Park.
The scheme has been commissioned by NHS Sheffield and will be delivered by Community 1st Sheffield. The finished medical centre will replace the existing outdated Norfolk Park Medical Centre and will provide a range of medical services, including GP and nursing services, minor surgical procedures, community therapies and a pharmacy, whilst also providing a hub for the local community.
A partnership between NHS Sheffield, Sheffield City Council and Community 1st Sheffield has ensured that the most appropriate site was selected for this development and that it will support investments already made to improve local housing, parks and other facilities for the community.
Community 1st Sheffield has appointed Kier Northern to construct this new development which was designed by integrated design team Blue Sky Design Services www.blueskyinspired.co.uk
The centre is due to be open to the public in early 2013.
