Corporate Social Responsibility
We believe that Corporate Social Responsibility is a crucial business issue for Community 1st Sheffield (C1S), and one on which we - like other companies - are increasingly judged.
The ethos of the LIFT programme is to create facilities which act as catalyst for the wider regeneration of areas where deprivation is high, or access to health and social community services is limited.
The impact of regeneration isn’t always about physical buildings but also about regenerating the social fabric of an area to ensure sustainable improvement.
C1S endeavour to ensure that any development proposals maximise community regeneration and employment generation opportunities, both in terms of recruitment and retention of existing staff and new employment and / or training opportunities.
At C1S, we believe it is our responsibility to act in the local community’s interest for the long-term success of any scheme.
